| I started dj-ing when I was 15.. way back in ‘75.. a great time to be around for music and the club scene. Ive lived and experienced the transition of soul, funk, disco and house and the many off shoots |
| of those genres. Although I’m a true soul head at heart. I progressed to the London club scene in the mid 80’s and was running my own gay/mixed club night called WKD JAM by the late 80’s playing everything from rare groove to disco and the emergence of house music. It was a very exciting time. During the 90’s I guested frequently at London’s legendary Queer Nation as well as many other popular mixed clubs that where around at that time. I held a 2 year residency at Heaven and was resident at other more underground clubs on the scene that no longer exist. It was at this time I started coming to San Francisco and hooked up with Stompy where I would guest periodically through to the early part of this millennium. I still lived in London during that time. I’m currently living in San Francisco, finally! and we will see where the next leg of my journey takes me. |
