He still admits he’s not very clued up on the whole genre defining aspect of what he does and is simply a sucker for a great record, whatever side of the musical spectrum it comes from. Ben also represents the independent Cape Town label African Dope Records as a DJ and is one of the founder members of the Mix n Blend, one of South Africa’s premier DJ/Producer teams.
This is what Ben says about this show: This started out as a few tracks being played after a massive night out at a warehouse party in Limehouse (which I walked home from) and then turned into a progression from funk through to an eclectic mix of pretty much anything I pulled out. I listened back to it the next day and was surprised to hear that it seemed to make a lot more sense than I had originally thought…….. more luck than judgement! |
