broken, alas it was not needed. Sunday was the day to nod your head and to let the bass speakers re-arrange your internal organs.All night roots reggae, dancehall and bashment went on. RDK HiFi the “original Rockers” came all the way to Somerset to bring a bit of Brixton to the fields. Mainly conscious roots and rub a dub style! with a bit of steppas thrown in!

Mid-tempo house and disco to nod your head at.A bit of history about Paul:An avid record collector for over 15 years, Paul Carey got his first taste of house music in the early underground house scene of Northern California circa 1993: A heady mix of full-moon parties, beach parties, dirty warehouses, laid-back clubs, and crazy house parties coupled with psychedelic, funky, deep house and hip-hop(mainstream & underground). In 2000, Paul started managing the infamous Tweekin Records and was also one of the stores buyers. Pauls talent and musical depth of field make him a standout DJ. He brings a fresh and innovative approach to the music, which assures him longevity in this highly competitive and progressive music industry. Paul has become a well-established artist in the San Francisco underground music scene. He plays cutting edge music , with one eye firmly fixed on the dancefloor at all times. His influences include: SFs legendary Wicked crew (Jeno, Garth & Markie Mark), Mark Farina, Doc Martin, the DIY crew (UK), DJ Buck, DJ Premiere , Jurassic 5 & DJ Zeph. Pauls shared the decks with such internationally acclaimed DJs as Miguel Migs, Jeno, Doc Martin, Z-Trip, Peanut Butter Wolf, etc. Paul has played at every major venue in San Francisco. A bit of history on Labor day: In the US It happens on the 3rd of September instead of the 1st of May that happens in Europe,as the US government at the time (1894) wanted to move it away from the nascent communist and anarchists movements of the time that wanted to remember the Haymarket massacre in Chicago.In the US is seen as and end of the summer Holiday and most political connotations are gone. But as we approach Mayday in Europe here at Downlow we would like to remember the contributions to society made by the struggle of the workers in this century…and have a party!!
